Question More popular? West or East?

Hi all,
Just curious to know if modifying 4 & 6 cyl cars in the US, is more popular in the West Coast or the East Coast.

Cheers.

Welcome to AF!!!

I'm from California, and I've seen ricemobiles since before I knew what to call them. I'm sure the "California Car Scene" made great strides in this area, but I'll bet the east coast would say the same.

My official answer: I dunno.

Hehehe, thanx for the info, we don't get much US Hot4s news here. And when we do, it is prodominently from the West Coast, so I assumed it was a West coast thing.

Cheers.

i would say it is even
depends on the type of car...
but as stated, nopi nats draw from mississippi east...
and if there were two places it would be at least even in this country it is the coasts... but there are some interior hotbeds too... big cities are the key... vegas, lotsa hot dry air, no rust... all is well there... that scene is definitely alive... and in more than just imports...

I would say it started, or was more popular in the west, especially b/c of how close it is to the eastern globe...but like he said its spreading fast

i'm on the east coast. there doesn't seem to be a lot of tuned cars, but the ones that are, are pretty nice. a lot of them around me are running huge shots of nitrous, dont' know for how long though.

i am not real familier with the specifics of the law, all i know is that everyone has a purge valve blowing off, and are running nitrous like it's a cheap drug
