92' K1500 stalls at idle

The truck will start up cold fine, but after 5-10 minutes it will stall, and then it won't start for about another 30 minutes when it's cooled. I've replaced the IAC, fuel pump and sending unit, distributor and rotor switch, and fuel filter and so far nothing has helped.

Re: 92' K1500 stalls at idle

Since it is temp related, it could be the Engine Coolant Temp Sensor (in the intake manifold). A scan tool or VOM meter can be used to see what temp the sensor is reporting to the ECM when the engine is at operating temp.

Is the Check Engine light on?

No the light isn't on, I took it to a local garage and the analyzer didn't pick anything up.

It is the ignition control modual I can almost guarantee, I had a '93 that would do it at idle, or just driving down the road, would die and couldn't start it for like 15 min's, changed that out and never happened again. It's located under distributer cap, takes no time to change, think it cost like $40-70
