Vehicle security sustem
Have a 2002 ford explorer and there is a keyless entry pad but no remote. Bought one off ebay with instructions but did not work. Even replaced battery in remote to be shure. How do i tell if there is a system to use the remote and if so where is this located at.Thanks

Re: Vehicle security sustem
Welcome to the forum!
When you attempted to program the new remote to the vehicle, did you get the proper indications that would imply the remote was correctly learned? -Rod |

Re: Vehicle security sustem
What is the "vehicle security cip?"
If you have the keypad on the door, your system would have originally come with remote keyless entry consisting of the keypad as well as the key fobs. -Rod |
