Re: low trac ???

What were the weather, road conditions or your driving conditions? Was it slippery? Once the traction control system senses wheel spin then it will reduce engine power and/or modulate the brakes since it is an ABS system and turn on the low trac light while it is limiting wheel spin. So it is normal to hear noise while it is working.

Re: low trac ???

This may have been the system working as it should. If the ABS computer senses wheel spin, it will retard engine timing to limit power until the wheel regains grip. That was probably the noise you heard.

Re: low trac ???

The noise the OP probably heard was the ABS system modulating and applying the front brakes. Reason why is the L67/GTP has the full range traction control system and not just a basic enhanced system where only engine power is reduced.

Re: low trac ???

Yeah, I forgot to include the ABS system also engaging as a possible cause of the noise. I was working while writing jumping back and forth, and hit send before I added that, oops!
