sluggish turn signals
both my turn signals are sluggish. the right turn signal switch is broken but if I hold it a certain way, it will work. but both sides are very slow and sometimes even stop if I'm at a light and start again when i go.
Anyone know why and what the problem is? Thanks much. Bill G. |

Re: sluggish turn signals
Sounds like the switch in the steering column is bad. Have you replaced the flasher?

Re: sluggish turn signals
Thanks. I replaced the bulb, if that's what you mean. Is there something else that needs to be replaced, like something in the power box? (if that's what it's called). Do you know if it's difficult replacing the switch itself? Thanks again for your help.

Re: sluggish turn signals
On my olds, there were two flashers. One under the dash not hard to change and on behind the dash, not so easy to change. I swapped them both out and my sluggish blinkers cleared up. Hope it helps.
