1999 Windstar will not idle

I have a 1999 windstar with a 3.8 L engine. The van will not idle. I had the dealership replace the intake gaskets and do a tune up on the engine about 1 month ago. The van stalls after starting and when sitting at the traffic light.

Sounds like many other idle problems on this site. Try cleaning the IAC that sites on top of the throttle body.

I agree, if there are no "engine lights", the IAC is the trouble area. Of course the electrical harness can also be the problem ... rarely is, but can be. I would just buy a new IAC valve before it ran me crazy. Easy to replace.
