2005 Silverado FM Radio "Info" question

I have a 2005 Silverado and have a question about the radio. On FM it has that "info" function where it displays the info sent from the radio station like title of song and artist's name etc. Is there a way to turn the info off?? I do not see anything about turning it off in the manual, just how to get it to display the info.
I have been putting up with it but find it a bit distracting at times. I have tried pushing the info button to turn it off with no success. Thanks. Mike.

Just hold the button in till it beeps and you should be good to go. At least thats how my 2005 works.

Also once you get it turned off you can push the info button on any song that has info with it and get the info for that one song.
