URGENT: Water pump removal
I can't get my water pump off to replace my optispark.
I removed the secondary air pump, and unbolted the bracket, but the bracket just won't come off. Please help! I need to be able to drive to work tomorrow.

nice to know urgent doesn't mean anything..
i finally figured it out. but now i got another problem, after putting everything together, it's not sucking in the coolant.. the reseviore is quite full, but it's just sitting there, the level is not going down, and the engine is overheating..

you might have an air lock in the cooling system. What can happen is air bubbles can get in there and create a 'lock' making the water unable to pass through. You can typically take care of this by filling the highest point of the engine with water. For example, on my girlfriends POS ford taurus, I can take the upper radiator hose off and poor water into the top of the engine. I dont know a whole lot about cars, but thats my two cents! It's not a matter of urgent meaning anything, it's a matter of people who know something seeing it in time. It does sound like you have a bubble stuck in the system somewhere. I don't know too much about the LT1's but if there's a bleeder valve, open it up and let the air out that way. If not, try what flipflip530 said.

By the morning, the coolant actually "settled in". Today, while driving it stayed cool, but every fast acceleration (I love tearing up the streets now, that my new opti is working great, though that pathetic backfire still exists), the low coolant level flashes. So I must need more in it..
