2.4L Breeze Rough Idle/Stalling

Alright I have a 98 Plymouth Breeze I just got with a 2.4L the car at idle runs really rough almost like a cylinder isn't firing but when its revved up to about 2800 and over it runs fine. I'm not really sure what this problem could be, its not throwing a Check Engine light at least it wasn't for about the 5 to 10 minutes I had the car running. I didn't have a chance to actually get the codes read yet because I can't drive it in its current state. If I let off the gas it will idle really rough for a little while and eventually stall. I'm pretty much lost with this because I looked through the car a little and didn't see anything that would cause the problem... Any ideas before I get myself too far into this?
