MB 220 Se Crashed in the Snow

our president from the club ( http://www.mbvcoe.at ) has driven the ennstal-classic with the originalcar and had a little accident. so i say after a few beers " that i can make out of a revell-model...." and so the story goes along..............

first i have to cut down the lenght, because the revell is the long version.
then i cut out the fender and replace it with alufoil , for the color i used tamya paints and my aztek-airbrush.

its very simple to make a crashed fender or anything else
you need aluminium foil, best from microwave meals, and superglue and a bit of baking powder or a pulver like speedy combine( here is a link www.jamara.de. this are very tiny "pearls" that soak up the glue and will harden like rock . this is available from different producers.
you form a bit of the foil over the carpart, bend this the way you need . cut the part to the right shape and replace( thats the hard thing on diecasts) the part on the model.and then apply the glue and the pulver from inside an let it dry.
