Cold Shift 98 PASS/RODEO
Is it normal for the transmission to hold longer to shift when the car hasnt been driven and or the temp gauge has returned to cold? I assume this is designed to get the engine up to operating tempreture as quickly as possible for economy. Also I get on the interstate within 200 feet of my driveway and overdrive does not kick in either when its cold. After the car warms up its shift patterns are "normal".

Re: Cold Shift 98 PASS/RODEO
Totally normal.
My Rodeo does the exact same thing. |
