95 Grand Am Door Poppers!!

Hey guys i need some help again i just got some door poppers from one of my buddies. We tried to install them on the lower bottom end of the door but wwe could not get the cable to extend far enough in order for the popper to unlock the door. Has anyone installed these on their door and if so where did you install them at on the door. Please help i would really like to get these things installed. Thanks for all of your help!!

What exactly are you talking about "poppers"????

DO You mean door open or unlock poppers ?

They replace your exterior handle and upon touching the button on the remote it pulls the cable attached to the solenoid that would be like you pulling up your door handle. All it does is pop the door of the hindge. It is not the keyless entry. Thanks

Ok so you didnt have any direction with these.... that kinda sucks.

I thought thats what you were asking about but I wasnt certain.


Was they used in a Grand am previosly ??
You might have to add more cable or something to get it to reach the door mech. to open properly.

Another issue would be the wieght of your door(s), if the "popper" is to small it might not open the door enough.

This is definatly going to require some customization.

It would be nice to have shaved door handles !
