xk8 hydraulic roof leaK

Hi. New to this, and desperately need help.
02 XK8 with 48,000 miles on it. Out of warranty. Just got a leak of hydraulic fluid at the rear view mirror. Understand that it is the hydraulic system for the covertible roof and that it likely will be necessary to replace the hoses which run from the trunk where the motor is located, to the roof latch which is above the rear view mirror. Can anyone give any advice/help on just exactly how to do it? What parts are necessary? Do the lines have to be replaced or might it suffice to drain and clean and refill the system? Could leak be simply at the latch connection and thus not require replacing the lines? Anyone have a schematic/plan for what needs to be done?
Anything is welcome.
Thanks.
E.
