suspension knuckles

so, as most of you know, i'm getting ready to lower my DSM, i have everything now, it will be on Eibach springs, and tokico illumina shocks... now i only want to take the car in to get aligned once... BUT! i need to replace the suspension knuckles in the front to accout for my brembo brakes... my question is, can i lower the car, get the alignment, then remove the knuckles some time later and replace them with the new ones, and my alignment be perfect? or should i wait to do the suspension untill i have everything i need to lower and install the brakes and just do everything at once?

thanks!

Re: suspension knuckles

Well it would be best to align it after you get it how you want it. But yeah you can go ahead and lower it and align it, then put the knuckles on without realigning it. Because since the knuckles are going to keep the suspension geometry the same since its not lowering the car anymore than before, it won't throw it out of alignment any.

Re: suspension knuckles

so it will have no effect on the toe or anything? i'm going to lower it and drive it to the shop on OEM rim/tires, i dont want any extra wear on my 20k mile $$$$ tires you know, i guess i could drive it out of alignement untill i install the brakes, then slap on the new tires, and drive straight to the shop...

Re: suspension knuckles

As long as the knuckles that you will eventually swap to are the same (except for the brake stuff of course) then you will be fine to go ahead and get it aligned now and swap them later.
