Self-adjusting wheel emblems???
The new Rolls is probably the first car in history that has self adjusting wheel emblems! What does that mean?
Simply...... every 'RR' badge on the centre of each of the 4 wheels is engraved on a tiny special sort of free revolving mechanism that is programmed to return the emblem back to its "upright" position every time the car stops! BMW hi-tech gone mad or what? |

They probably spent a fortune developing that.. but if they had only looked at a bus wheel they would have seen just that.. you see most bus companies have tyre contracts so the miles have to be recorded.. this is done be a self leveling mileometer which is put on the hub of one of the back wheels.. Useless information I know but I thought i'd throw that in for you information

>>back to its "upright" position every time the car stops
if i'm not mistaken, the badge is in its upright position when a car is moving as well. i even saw a photo with phantom on the move with emblems upright |

i think its a pretty cool idea. what sucks is that probably raises the vehicles cost a few hundred dollars. |

the REAL first spinners
I must say, those wouldn't be the first spinners if they are on the Phantom. the first spinners were actually created as a high school or collage project in the early 90's. but they became popular when Minnesota Timberwolves
star Latrell Spreewell rolled up to the camera (for MTV's Cribs) in a Merc E-500 with spinners fitted on it. then they became popular and most rap stars that have Hummers or Escalsde's have spinners. so that is why sometimes spinners are referred to as "Spreewells".
