iPod and Factory Headunit

Does anyone know if a device I could use to hook up my iPod to my factory head unit. I don't want to use an FM modulator and don't want to buy a completely new after market CD player. Any suggestions?

Re: iPod and Factory Headunit

you're options are VERY limited .... aftermarket is just incorporating this stuff into their headunits in the last maybe 4 years or so.

I have been researching and found a company called Peripheral Electronics. They create gateways that allows you to hook up iPod directly to factory head unit and browse through songs, artists, albums, etc using the buttons on the head unit. It will also charge your iPod at the same time. i thought it was pretty nice.
