2005 Impala SS - sound of liquid when accelerating?

Whenever accelerating at low speeds, it almost sounds like a bathtub of water is going from front to back. Has anyone had this issue before? What could it be?

from my past qoutes on this i'd say you have a big puddle of water under your carpet on the pass side front and rear,if you do then the weather stripe that is under the cover of your right wiper that come's off with a few clips ,under that there is supposed to be a peice of rubber that diverts the water from left to right,if it is not there or not on good get some good silicone and glue it back on,if the rubber strip is not on good or fell off more then likely all the water is coming down through your blower motor and filling up under your carpet,if not fixed then all the wiring harness is also on that side going right back through the car and eventually if not all ready you will have all kinds problems with wires corroding

Another possibility is you are low on coolant and/or you have some air trapped in your coolant system... When air is trapped you can get a gurgle or bubbling sound thru your heater core when you start to accelerate... Try checking your coolant level and bleeding the air out of it...

if this is from air in coolant run engine until hot with coolant cap off then top off coolant res....also use bleed screws if possible...

I notice the same thing on my 05. sounds like a river flowing on the initial takeoff. I would love to know how this occurs or how to correct.Low coolant is out of the question.
Anyone familar with this?
