2005 Impala SS - sound of liquid when accelerating?
Whenever accelerating at low speeds, it almost sounds like a bathtub of water is going from front to back. Has anyone had this issue before? What could it be?

Re: 2005 Impala SS - sound of liquid when accelerating?
Another possibility is you are low on coolant and/or you have some air trapped in your coolant system... When air is trapped you can get a gurgle or bubbling sound thru your heater core when you start to accelerate... Try checking your coolant level and bleeding the air out of it...

I notice the same thing on my 05. sounds like a river flowing on the initial takeoff. I would love to know how this occurs or how to correct.Low coolant is out of the question.
Anyone familar with this? |
