burban wont move

i have a 95 suburban 1500 LT when i put into drive reverse etc. it just revs and does not move. ive check the tranny fluid and its full maybe too full but it doesnt move. i just got the truck not more than 2 weeks ago, im going to do a tranny flush to see if that my be the problem. any suggestions on what it may be will be helpful it is auto with a little over 200,000 miles thanx...

Sorry thread locked in error. Forget the flush, the unit must come out as the reverse clutch hub splines are stripped, common problem on these units.

well thats really what i didnt want to hear... another guy had said to pull the pan and check that the linkage is hooked up does that sound like something i should do... also do you know of any web sites that have a picture of the inside of the tranny to where ill know what im looking for... thanx for any help

You cannot fix this without removing the trans and disassembling the entire unit.

ok now is this the same situation if now the truck will move in drive and reverse up to 10 15 mph then go out and just rev.... would the best idea be to just replace it...thanx
