I have an 88 Silerado 1500 4 X 4 with a 350 engine. The engine is a replacement with about 75,000 miles on it.The oil pressure sending unit is leaking and i've never changed one out.Can anybody give me some guidance?

Re: 88 silvarado oil pressure sending unit
Top or side. Basicly just unsrew it and replace it either way. The top one is easier to access if you remove the distributor. Just mark everything before you take it out.
BTW The top one controls the safety switch for the fuel pump, the bottom one actually controls the light or gauge.
