Alfa Romeo 158 & Talbot Lago SMER
Two very simple builds, made of old tooling from Merit in 1/24.

Very good if you compare what you get in box. I see you changed the wheels, what did you use?

Re: Alfa Romeo 158 & Talbot Lago SMER
Looking excellent!
As mentioned, after seeing the parts we get in the box I wasn't expecting such great builds! |

Re: Alfa Romeo 158 & Talbot Lago SMER
Veyron, thank you again for your comments.
Sasa, thank you too. I used wheels found in my spare parts box. One set that I remember came from a Lindberg ´34 ford pickup. You can find some photo etched sets, like Hiro´s, but the price is really high. Jano, thank you for viewing and commenting. I really like old race cars for their pure lines and simplicity. I dream about new releases from the old Merit tools and the whole collection totalized 15 models. Aldo |

I completely agree, the old cars look so much better than the new ones with all the wings. Just curious, what color did you use on the Talbot?
Great builds! |

Beautifully done Aldo - that you can turn out such nice models from those kits is a credit to you.

Pawlie, Martin and Tonioseven, thank you all.
Pawlie, I used Tamiya French Blue spray in the Talbot. Aldo |
