2002 Brake pedal/ Taillight issue

This is the weirdest problem I have ever seen and I have a lot of details so I'm hoping that someone will be able to give me a solution.

Out of the blue while driving down the road the other day when I pressed the brake pedal my left turn signal indicator lit up. The further you press the brake pedal the brighter the indicator gets. If you hold down the pedal long enough, my radio shuts off, the interior lights on the doors go out, the gauges go to zero, and all of the warning lights on the gauges come on. Afterr your release the pedal everthing goes back to normal, but the radio stays off and the security light stays on.

If you mess with the taillight connector for a little bit it stops doing it for a while, or until you hit a large bump. I have tried a new brakelight switch. If you unplug the taillight all together it stops doing it. From there if you take out the blinker or actual brake lightbulb the problem stops. Also, when the tallight is unplugged the hatch continually tries to lock and if you shut it when the taillight is unplugged the hatch won't unlock.

Sorry this is so long, I really hope somebody can help. thanks.

Start looking fo bad grounds in that circuit. May not be related, but all the tailamp circuit boards in that year were recalled.
