Bad BCM?
What a saga. After losing the Fob for my 2001 Malibu a few years ago, I finally got a new one. Took it to the dealer and he said the receiver was missing?! I can only imagine it didn't get put back after I had some body work done a while back.
So I got a new one installed, and now he said the receiver is working but the BCM isn't talking to it and is bad. Is he taking me for a ride? This is a pretty reputable place I usually trust. Thoughts?
