1985.5 Porsche 944 runs rich
i have a late 1985 porsche 944 that i am using for a dirt track race car. i cannot figure out why it is running very rich at all rpm ranges, especially from about the 1000 rpm range up until the 3500-4000 range. i have replaced the air flow meter and the idle controle valve and the dme relay. i also had the dme tested and none of these fixed my problem. there is also a box that is located next to the dme that clicks when the key is on. i dont know if this has anything to do with it because it does not change the running condition when you unplug it. if you have any input please let me know. thanks for your help. Tyler.

Did you ever fix your 944? I have one that seems like it is doing the same thing.
