96 T-Bird Cold start problem

When cold engine fires but when I push gas pedal revs drop and tries to stall. after 2/3 mins engine runs ok, then no problem all day. Any ideas

replacing the battery on mine fixed that somewhat...do you have any codes? i have a maf code that needs to be addressed so perhaps that is the true problem for you too
