2003 Expedition ABS Light

This weekend my ABS light started to come on. I would shut the truck off and restart the truck and the light would stay off for a while and then eventually come back on. Any ideas on where or how to start investigating the problem?

A scanner capable of ABS codes should point you to the right direction.
