Re: Hrm Eng For The 250 Tr

What's the use to produce an engine for a kit that already has a pretty good one?!
Don't get me wrong. I like their engine kits for the Fujimi GT40, Porsche 917K or the Ferrari 330 P4. However they should have maybe done an engine and suspension kit for the Ferrari 250 LM (Academy). Or maybe for the Peugeot 905 that has a lame engine in the kit.

jano, I was wondering the same thing, the engine in the kit is just as good as the HRM one looks...

HRM's engine kits are absolutely stunning. They have great detail that you really won't see in any plastic kit. There are several places that the Hasegawa kit engine could be improved. Some aspects of the Hasegawa kit look almost blockish.

I have to agree with scalecentral the engine in the kit is lacking in detail.

Yes, the engine block looks a bit off when built. It just doesn't convey the look of the real thing like some of the HRM engines do and would. You really should see his Porsche 917 engine.
