We have a 2007 Suburban here at the fire department. we have added a bar light, siren, etc. We have put all the add-ons on a master disconnect. However, we are still having a problem with the battery dying. Just wondering if anyone know of a problem with the electrical systems on this model? Thanx.

Re: 2007 power drain
Todays vehicles have alot of draw from the onboard electronics. Does the truck sit without being used for along time? With the additional items you installed, does the alternator produce enough currrent to keep the battery charged especially if the truck idles alot. Has the battery been load tested? Take the truck to a GM dealer who knows what the normal milli-amp draw should be on the battery and have him measure your draw to see if it is normal. These are just some thought starters.
