ZX2 runs rough stalls when putting into gear.

I just bought a 2001 and it runs rough and shaky at idle and stalls when putting it into gear. Any suggestions?

It could be many things. Start with the basics.............

Check plugs and wires.
Check for dirty/sticking IAC valve.
Check air filter.
Check for fuel pressure.
Get a scan if Check Engine light is on.

Yeah, the light is on. So I'll start there first. Thanx.
