2003 impala

I just recently had a front wheel bearing replaced on my 2003 impala LS, that took care of the trac and ABS lights but now I am finding my ABS brakes system arppears to be engaging when I come to a stop or turn the wheel sharply, pulsation can be felt in the brke pedal and the moan can be heard from the front it happens even when I back out of the driveway, I have a ob2 but nothing shows up and there are no warning lights to indicate further problems. I should mention the front bearing was replaced by a licenced shop and they never indicated further problems existed other than the bearing, responses appreciated in advance.

Thanks
Jim

Re: 2003 impala

Welcome to AF. Jim, you must have this scanned with an abs function scanner, looking at wheel speed sensor inputs when this occurs will usually reveal a bad speed sensor at one of the wheels, at low speeds the input to abs controller is lost so it thinks a wheel is locked.
