engine light evap emission malfunction

My engine light came on,its an 03 ram with the hemi. I ran a diagnostic at autozone the reading was ph0440 evap emissions malfuntion. I don't have a clue and would like a little help before I get screwed at the repair shop

I just had the same problem in my 1996 dodge ram. I recently had a new motor put in and when they installed it they put the EGR valve upside down. This caused the diaphram in it to stay closed. The valve is labelled top and bottom. I also made sure all the lines from the EGR valve to the charcoal canister were free of debris. The EGR valve was located to the right of the intake manifold. Try checking the valve for debris and the lines for debris or cracks. I then had the engine light reset and its been off since. Hope this works for you. good luck!
