Re: Headlights turned off while driving

Years ago I had a car that did that and it was the dimmer switch, not sure if it might be the same here. I would try using the dimmer switch to go to hi-beam and see if it brings the head lights back on the next time it happens. Another option is to check to see if there is a relay specifically for the head lights, that could be going bad. Do you have day driving lights? Sorry, I'm not much help, just doing some thinking out loud, might give you something to start with. Good luck.

Re: Headlights turned off while driving

My daughter's Buick had something similar happen and it was the headlight switch. Have replaced it twice.
