Price range for 3rd gen. Bird

I'll be looking for one of these soon. I'd like to grab one before they become collector. I wanted to know the price range of an '85 to '92 Pontiac Firebird with:

-LB9 5.7L or L98 5.0L V8 engine
-100,000 plus miles
-4 Speed Automatic transmission
-140 MPH or 120 MPH speedometer
-Good tires (might be driving for a while back home)
-Little to no body damage
-Okay paint job (I don't mind paying for a new paint job. After all we're talking about a car that'd be older than me or close to my age. I'm 17)
-Not Convertible, but maybe T-Top

By the way, could I take out the back seats and replace them whenever I want. I've seen pictures of the cars and they are not meant for normal-sized human beings but I couldn't put my canvases and art supplies
in there.

Re: Price range for 3rd gen. Bird

First off you have your engines backwards. L98 is the 350 LB9 is the 305. Something like this can still be found for near the 2k mark I would figure on paying more like 3.5k though unless you find someone who is desperate to get rid of it like I did. I found my Formula 350 in very similar condition to what you describe in 2004 for $2k.

Re: Price range for 3rd gen. Bird

id cut the 305 out of your thoughts for the engine option because if you're gonna use the firebird for what its meant to be used for(beating up those annoying fart can sounding imports) the 305 just wont take it, belive me i had it happen to me and it sucks
and i got mine with a 305 and a fairly sad body for 1300 im in the process of putting a 350 out of a chevy silverado in it
