Painting Caliper -- Which paint to use

Hi,

I just bought some new caliper for my car (Pontiac Sunfire GT), and I would like to paint them, They are not on the car yet, so the job will be easy

I see there's some "Caliper paint kit" that cost around 30$, but, my question is Can i simply use a heat resistant paint which will cost 8$ or the "Caliper paint" include in the "Caliper paint kit" has something special that the heat resistant paint don't have ?

Thanks
Guillaume

Heat resistant paint is fine. The "caliper paint" is just a gimmick to get ricers to pay more for a cheap can of paint.
