Some years ago (2003 if memory serves) I had a JEEP CJ with a warped
body, some leftover NASCAR parts and a weekend with nothing to do... Instead of trying to fix the body I discarded it and modified the rollcage to fit the JEEP frame to create a rock crawler / dune buggy. Nowadays I would definitely build a custom suspension, allowing for more suspension travel. Back then I just wanted to build something quickly for motivation purposes I never bothered to make it dirty, but will do so as soon as I get around to ![]() Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking! |

Re: JEEP | Rubicon X
It is amazing what you did with that nascar chassis. It looks like it could also be a good desert buggy.

Re: JEEP | Rubicon X
Seems you had some fun with that
It's like looking at one of those transforming picture optical illusions - one minute I see a jeep and the next a NASCAR and then a jeep and then......

Re: JEEP | Rubicon X
That's a great idea, weather it a little & it'll look even better.
