Tire size for stock height?

I was looking on the BF Goodrich site at the availability of tire sizes for the All Terrain Tires in a 17in rim. They have a 265/70/17 (measured at 31.8" in height).

My stock tire is a BFG Rugged Trail that is 265/65/17 (measured at 30" in height).

The question is, will the All Terrain fit on my truck without any mods (I had 33's on my old Toyota and they were great tires).

If anyone has any info to add, it would be greatly appreciated!

Get out the saw!!!

At 31.8" you are going to need to trim some of your plastic fenders in the front. Nothing you can trim in back. Might also need to adjust the torsion bars up too.

And you'll be getting tire rub on your wheel wells in any off-camber situations.

Question Being that he has a 2002

His front fender is already trimmed being a 2002. We know 31” will fit.
But with 32”, will he have to trim more?

Yes indeed. And do a torsion bar twist.
