front end over bump noise!
Sounds like something minor... per klunk, or thud. nothing to loud but is getting annoying. and seems to be getting a lil worse.

Re: front end over bump noise!
Check front end control arm bolts.
Mine was loose and almost came off. Ended up stripping the control arm. |

Re: front end over bump noise!
I had the same problem.
Replacing the sway bar solved my problem.

Re: front end over bump noise!
I had the sway bar replaced on my wifes 2001 LS V8. The noise was very iritating. The dealer here replaced it, but the only problem was they had to lift the engine to do it. This is not cheap to fix. Sorry for the wonderful news, but your not alone. These cars love the shop. We are on a first name basis with mechanics. Some to look for-rear window mechanism both doors(warranty), Air bag warning light (latest), Radiator overflow tank cracked ($600), gasket leak (fouled plug) notorious!, door straps (notorious).
They hit alot of milestones with this car while also neglecting other areas. Great car, just loves machanics! Good luck to all! |
