hello im new to AF
Hello I have a 93 Lumina 3.4 and coming home the other day it would nit shift into 3rd gear. I still have first, second and reverse but no third or forth gears.
Could this be anything cheaper than needing a new trans? Thank You, Greg Also the site is great! |

Re: hello im new to AF
Welcome to the site. Did the tranny just start this all at once? Or were there things leading up to no 3rd & 4th gears?

Re: hello im new to AF
It just started, no warning or indications. The car has always had a slow oil leak (1 quart every 2 weeks or so), but no other notable problems.

Re: hello im new to AF
Most likely the cheapest would be to find a reputable tranny shop & let them drive it. It sounds like you may be in need of a tranny rebuild. But again I maybe wrong.
