Back Light for the gear shift.

Just have a quick question is the gear shift on a automatic 1995 honda passport supposed to have a backlight ? Cant see which gear I am in at night?? Thanks in advance

yes it is....can't remember part number right now. but take a look at sides of the gearshift floor box, should be screws to pull it open.......carefully.
