Exclamation New Struts/Shocks?

I have a 2001 Pontiac GrandPrix GTP! I would like to know whats the best type of Struts and Shocks to buy? As far as price range fairly cheap but not like the cheapest thats gonna make it ride just as bad or worse than it already is! Thanks

Re: New Struts/Shocks?

I would go with either AC-Delco or KYB. Gabriel and Monroe Sensa-Tracs ride too wallowy.

Re: New Struts/Shocks?

not bad! how is the ride?

I put monroe strut mounts and bearings in with ac delco struts, and the strut bearings make a TON of noise when its below 60 degress outside.

JUNK! I hope yours arent the same way

I ordered some noew bearings from rockauto.com (ac delco)

Re: New Struts/Shocks?

It rides great and the bearings are quiet no noise at all. I was looking for inexpensive and complete as I don't have or want to buy a spring compresser and I needed new springs anyway now I'm going to do the rears
