97 blazer third brake light circuit help!!!
i have a broken third brake light.
i opened it up and some component is blown up. i am guessing it's diode or fuse. anyone has any idea what exactly blown up? see pictures please. ![]() ![]() thank you so much!!!! |

Welcome to AF.
Picture are good but the circuit board will have to be tested with a good volt /ohm meter Are you sure it is getting good power and ground to it? Plug it in and step on brake and check for power or lose of power on circuit board. Check the circuit board and bulbs. I see a lot of bulbs burn out. The diode can be tested with a volt/ohm meter If diode or bulb bad for circuit city/raido shack. If circut board broke some can be resoldered.
