Is it a stock radio or aftermarket? If aftermarket, check to make sure the power wires (ground or positve lead) is not being contacted by the brake pedal when applied. Also make sure it is not pluged into the fuse for the braking system.
If it is stock radio, it could be the same thing but more likely a bad ground or a short under the dash.
