I actually got to work on my car today!

I'm so freakin happy... when I came home my aunt, uncle and cousins were here so instead of comin inside and sitting at my computer until they leave (I dont get along with the rest of my family) I decided to start work on my Civic... I had just come back from Advance Auto Parts b/c my civic's clear corners arrived today... so I figured it was finally time to pull the headlight, fix the bracket, and put at least the passenger side on. That didn't take me long so I decided to install my new clutch cable... still bored I finally pulled my dash back out, grabbed the HUGE wiring harness for it and now the dash is ready for a real installation. I also thought I'd touch up some blue spots I missed when I painted it and I put an extra coat of black on it just to be on the safe side.

Here's some pix....

Here's my dash getting wired

FINALLY I GET A PIC OF A SET OF CLEAR CORNERS ON MY CAR!
(the last time I had them I never got a pic of them)

okay... had to have a matchin set :smoker2:

Okay... that's all I got done today woo hoo just thought I'd share

yeah, the only problem is I never get home in time to do any major work... now that I've taken a 2nd job free time is almost non-existant... but soon I'll have a garage with a heater so I can go work in the middle of the night on my car and not get cold like I do when I try to work on it now.

Really all of that didn't take that long... Like I said I would have spent that time sitting in front of my computer on here or playing a game but I decided to work on my ride. Everything took me about 20min, the hardest part was repairing the headlight bracket from where it got bent when the CRX had it's wreck. Everything else didn't take long and it was dark when I did most of that stuff. I'm so close to finished on getting the exterior usable it's not even funny... I've got to get a driver's side headlight, pass. tail light, and finish my body work then the exterior will be fine for a while and I can start on more pressing issues (engine) I'll prob have the interior also finished this week, reassembly is all it needs... once I put my seat back on the bracket (from where I tried putting it in the CRX and failed) re-mount the bracket to the floor, and slide in and plug in my new dash and console it's going to be ready for paint on the door panels, which I may start soon since I'm going to try to grab the paint tonight.
