'97 GM Front Bumper Cover Replacement

My wife's '97 Marquis got backed into and the front bumper cover has a nasty crease in it. I know it at least needs the bumper cover, possibly the bumper reinforcement behind it and maybe the parking light assembly. The crease is fairly shallow so I doubt anything past the reinforcement is bent.

I'm looking to tackle it myself and get it painted afterwards, how tough is this job, can it be handled at home? I have a well equipped garage, just not used to doing body work on newer cars.

Thanks, Bob

Re: '97 GM Front Bumper Cover Replacement

Hello Bob. The bumper cover is just a bolt on bolt off part. There may be some christmass tree locks in it, but from reading your post, you should have no problem with replacement. Good luck.
