Sorry that I haven't been on in a while.
I have talked with the main engineer of a company in NJ that is interested in making these traction bars for our cars. They are designed to elimate dreadful and damaging wheel hop while allowing full use of the suspension without any binding or interference. He has clients that use them on their roadracing cars. They currently do no have one for a maxima. I have volunteered to be the test dummy for their project when they get it going. Right now, it is at the bottom of their research and development todem pole right now. I have told him to check out our sites and have posted on most of them about this. He says that the more need, the quicker it moves up the ladder to production. I will keep you guys posted about this. This is a big opportunity for the maxima owners. Wheel hop is something that comes into play with any front wheel drive car. Now we have a chance to remove it from the equation. Post and let me know how many are interested. He said that if there were enough that we would work out some kinda group deal. They did something similar to this with hondatech. I would be overjoyed if we could get this worked out. Thanks in advance for the replies. Imagine quicker 60' times, better times when autocrossing or roadracing...yummm :licker: Mike Last edited by A5295; 03-04-2003 at 11:31 PM. |

come on guys...
I can't believe no one is interested in these. The torque that our cars produce causes some massive wheel hop of the line and in turns. this is not only slowing you down, but also will damage some drivetrain components from the shock they are experiencing. Anyone who seriously competes with their maxima would need one of these to to get rid of it.

wheel hop
I just started having wheel hop problems with my 17 in rims that I just installed. I would be interested in elimnating this problem as long as there is a warranty that states they will refund the money if their product doesn't eliminate the problem or atleast make it better.
