The Goodwood Festival Of Speed 2008 Thread

I have ordered 2 tickets, mine for Fathers Day courtesy of the kids, and one for my father for his Fathers Day present.
The media day was recently held and it appears #06R will be going again (pic courtesy of sportcarpros.com)


Anyone else going this year? Looks like a good line up if their Press Day Video is anything to go by, and as the theme is 'Hawthorn to Hamilton – Britain’s love affair with World Motor Sport’ you never know, there may be more than 1 F1 there (must remember this , must remember this )

Is it the Le Mans Classic then? The 24h race is on the 14th and 15th June, Goodwood is on the 11th, 12th and 13th July

yes same weekend as LM Classic, therefor I go to Goodwood on friday

#12R was the only one there today, but at least the weather held out and I managed to meet Le Man and countachal

Some are shots of the same side of the car but a different angle, some are intricate detailed shots, the rest are like the general pictures taken by enthusiasts

When I am more awake and the kids have gone to sleep I'll add more

Now that I can see the pictures I'm loving the shot of the little wicker bill/gurney flap access clip on the wing endplate. Can't wait to see the rest - good thing for free photo hosting.

Erik, as for the tax disc, that's an annual payment, and can be smaller depending on the emissions of the car. I am sure, with things going the way they are, that the price will seriously inflate before too long, probably by hundred(s) of %, but not to the extreme of the California taxes you alluded to
