converter removal

ive had the converter and resonator removed and now the engine light is on and alot of people ive talked to have said that with no converter my injectors will fry and do alot more engine damage than good any ideas on what to do

Well if you are refering to your 99 grand am, thiers a secondary O2 right after it, if thiers no converter then its going to be running realy rich and wasting gas.

Probly should put the cat back on... or get yourself an O2 simulator that tricks the PCM into thinking thier is a cat.
