i drive a 1991 acura legend L v6 3.2l. the car just shuts off ethier while driving ( 1-15 mph) or while at a red light, this doesnt happen offten but happens at the worst times. i usually have too push the car to the side of the road and wait till it starts again ( 5-15 min). battery is new. if anybody has any ideas whats wrong with my car it will be very helpful or if u have any questions just reply thanks.

Main relay needs to be repaired. Simple fix thats why no one replied to you.

Agreed! Main relay (under dash) is notorious for this. Just about drove me to drink: I'd stop for gas, shut off engine, then have to crank it for five minutes until it lit. Sometimes not. Intermittant as heck. Heard about the relay problem: seems the solder joints crack. Told my mechanic about it (after he spent a week with no luck- fortunately, he didn't charge!). He pulled the relay and found four broken solder joints. After he repaired it, I pulled it (and with the aid of a 10X magnifier), and found two he'd missed. No problem since!

+1 Main relay. Open it up and use a magnifying glass to see the fractured solder joints. Re-solder those joints and you will be good to go.
