Buzzing noise
I recently bought a 2002 Yukon XL with a 5.3L engine. I hear a buzzing noise almost like a small electric motor when acclerating and the faster I go the faster the buzzing sound. Anyone experience this and knows how to get rid of the noise?

Re: Buzzing noise
Sounds like either the fuel pump or the ABS brakes.

Re: Buzzing noise
can you tell where its coming from? I have a buzzing coming from a speaker looking thing on the driver side headliner.
Also my fuel pump went bad on a 2001 and it whined but didnt change pitch while accelerating. I dont even know what the speaker looking thing is, too lazy to find out. |

Re: Buzzing noise
It is not Onstar or the Microphone (part of the cell phone option). It is called an Aspirator and it is used for climate control.

Re: Buzzing noise
The buzzing noise is coming from a bad muffler
