2000 LeSabre driver side seat belt quest

Hello,

I hope someone can help me, I dont' have money to bring to dealer to get this fixed. The seat belt latch part will not latch. I try to latch it and it won't stay latched. How can I fix this. I removed the nut that detaches the latch arm, but there is wires that I don't know how or whaere to detach. I am not that mechanical when it comes to cars so if some one and tell me what to do with some type of diagram I would be indebted for life.!!!!

thx
-S

I'd suggest getting a used one at a salvage yard, there most likely is no permanent way to safely fix this unless something is stuck in the latch mechanism. The wires go under the seat, just follow them to the connector.
