Converting to E85

I've been thinking about converting my 200 Silverado to run on E85, there's a company right here in Denver that sells them. Anyone has any experiences switching to E85 ?

Nice Truck!

How much for the kit?

I've heard rumors that with e85 you wont get as good of milage that you do with regular unleaded. So the money you are saving to fill up with e85 is balanced out with more frequent fill ups. Might just be a rumor though.

Thanks, the kit is just a little over $400 and the fuel mileage is gonna be 5-15% less but it's still worth it if E85 is $2.59 here.

Re: Converting to E85

Hey I don't care if e85 is the same price as unleaded. If it helps to keep my money out of the middle east, then it's worth every penny! I run e85 occasionally in my trucks which aren't e85 converted and they do great. Also I can't really tell a difference in mileage when running e85 but they do run better.
